Verdant Alchemy is built on a simple idea: scent is the fastest way to change how you feel. Every soak, oil, and roll-on we make starts with scent — precise blends of essential oils formulated to shift you out of a stress state and into a rest state, whether you're in the bath, applying oil to your skin, or rolling a blend onto your wrist at your desk.
Made in small batches in our London studio, every formula starts from the same question: what does this moment actually need to feel like, and what scent gets you there.

Our magnesium bath salts are where this started
And they're still at the core of what we do — magnesium flakes and Dead Sea salt to soften muscles and skin, paired with scent blends that do the real work on your nervous system. That combination, magnesium-rich minerals and functional aromatherapy, is what most people know us for, and it's exactly what's still in every soak we make.

I started making these in 2018, in my kitchen, because I was burnt out and nothing marketed as "self-care" was actually doing anything. Bath bombs smelled nice and dissolved into glitter. Candles were lovely and did precisely nothing for the knot in my shoulders. I wanted something that actually worked on my nervous system, fast, the way scent does when it's formulated properly instead of just to smell nice.
So I started blending essential oils properly, the way a perfumer or an aromatherapist thinks about scent, and adding magnesium flakes and Dead Sea salt because they're genuinely good for sore muscles and tired skin. That combination, still made by hand in small batches, is exactly what we do today.
I test every formula myself before it leaves the studio. If it doesn't change how a room, or a person, feels within a few minutes, it doesn't go out under this name.
