As the weather gets warmer and we can finally shed our layers, it's time to celebrate the summer. We love taking advantage of this time - going to the park, having a picnic, riding a bike, or taking a walk by the water and giving our skin some serious vitamin D love. After a day of enjoying the outdoors, you may be a little sweaty. So why not take a bath when you arrive home? We know a bath may sound like something only for the colder months, but we can definitely continue to have baths all summer long as there are many benefits of bathing in the summer with either a hot or cold bath.

Benefits of a Cold Bath:
With the temperature rising, a cold bath may be just the thing your body is looking for. Coldwater therapy can help improve your circulation, increase your energy levels and reduce inflammation. In addition, if you are overheating (because it's just too hot outside), a colder bath can cool your body down faster and get you to that desired temperature. Using bath products that have a cooling effect, such as our Breathe In Bath Salts with Eucalyptus and thyme oils, can help with the process.

Benefits of a Hot Bath:
In the summer heat, a hot bath may not be the first thing you want to try, but a hot bath has many benefits, even when the sun is shining bright. When it's hot outside, a hot bath will make your body acclimate to heat better by making it sweat and release internal heat. In addition, a hot bath can help quiet the mind of all the day's worries and allow you to decompress while reducing symptoms of anxiety and stress.
